f there’s one season when you can have fun with fashion, it’s summer. And whether bright colours and tropical prints suit your personality, or you favour fine, breathable textiles in cool, neutral hues, there’s


something for you on the alfresco buffet table of summer fashion. “It’s all about bold colours and floral prints for summer 2013,” says Yvonne Price, owner of Chapter Clothing in Church Street, Sidmouth (www.chapterclothing.co.uk). Melon, fuchsia, orange, raspberry and cobalt blue are all strong summer colours, as well as staples black, white and navy. “Materials this season are relaxed but sturdy enough to wear all day, including linen, cotton lawn and silk. Dresses are popular, whether maxi, shift or A-line shaped. “Capri pants are always popular with our


customers – wear them with a fitted T-shirt and cropped jacket for a more structured look, or for a softer look team with an asymmetrical tunic.” And Yvonne has plenty of carefully-chosen items
