Biography: Uche is a founding partner of Alliance Law Firm, a full service business law firm with offices in Lagos, Abuja and Portharcourt, Nigeria.

Recent transactional highlights: • An indigenous E&P company on a proposed $500 million international IPO with listing in London.


• An indigenous E&P in connection with two GSAs for power plants in Delta State.


• Neconde Energy on a $470 million secured RBL transaction. • Neconde Energy in its acquisition of a 45% stake in an OML valued at $585 million.


• Nestoil in connection with the $1 billion NTCL pipeline project for SPDC. He also advised Nestoil Plc on several EPC projects including the $242 million OB3 project for NNPC.


• Advised a consortium comprising an European infrastructure group and a local power group on its bidding for a Genco and Disco asset under the ongoing privatization and sale of power companies in Nigeria. The consortium emerged as reserved bidders in both process.


• Currently advising a number of clients on an IPP project for 450 MW, and bids for NIPPs in Nigeria.


• Advised on acquisitions of interest in three (3) acreages of OPLs, Marginal Fields as well as two farm – out of assets.


• Advising on the setting up of a consortium between a foreign company and some Nigerian mid – stream operators for the operation of Horizontal Directional Drilling services within Nigeria and some West African territories.


• Jointly working with KPMG on an ongoing restructuring of a large energy group with over 15 affiliates .


• Part of a three – man arbitral tribunal that determined a reference involving an international energy group and one of the largest commercial banks in Nigeria over an escrowed $12million. The Tribunals unanimous award was complied with by both parties.
