Marna was thrilled to be chosen as assistant professor for a January art class on the US Virgin Island of St. John. She guided her class through a study of island landscape, lead- ing snorkel trips through the coral-reef preserve, and hiking the land preserve. George Brenner ’10 was also a guest, and he cus- tom-designed cufflinks for the groom and groomsmen. The newlyweds live in Soho and are enjoying life in NYC. Annie Barron married Andrew Brill on August 11 at the Mansion Inn, just out- side Saratoga Springs. Sarah Olson, Annie’s freshman roommate, was the maid of honor, and Scott Hinden and Mike Greenhaus were also in the wed- ding party. Attendees included Jake Fisher ’02, Chris Guros, Neil Connolly ’05, and Kaitlin Walsh. The couple lives in Chicago, IL, with cats George and Martha, who were adopted in Saratoga Springs in 2003.

Ariel Grossman is founder, artistic di - rector, and choreographer of NYC-based Ariel Rivka Dance, “committed to creating work that explores raw emotion in the context of strong technique and form.” The company specializes in collaboration with living composers and offers free com- munity performances and children’s pro- grams. They performed at the Green space Blooms Festival and SaratogaArtsFest last year. In March they collaborated with Riedel Dance Theater to stage a world pre- miere at the Ailey Citigroup Theater in Manhattan. Ariel is an alumna of the Joffrey Ballet School.

Marketing executive Erina Malarkey emerged victorious in the recent reality show and cooking contest Kitchen Circus, hosted by master chef Thierry Rautureau at Rovers, a premier Seattle restaurant. Erina wowed the judges with her wild- mushroom bisque with truffle shavings and sautéed chanterelles, served with a sage and parmesan popover.
