Rosenthal and Dalhausser have been training with coach Mike Dodd in prepara- tion for the 2013 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour schedule that begins April 23-28 at the Fuzhou Open in China. “I’m excited and can’t wait to get going,” Rosenthal said. “We’re defi nitely ready for some live competition. We’re

still getting used to each other on the court and that’s going to take some time and playing in actual competition. You can’t simulate that in practice.”
Rosenthal, who is considered one of the most athletic players on the FIVB Tour, said he feels better “physically” than any time in his career. “I feel strong, ready to get out of the gate,” he said. “We have not mapped out any specifi c goals for this year other than to develop the chemistry we are going to need to see us through any rough spots over the next four years. We are defi nitely thinking about this partner- ship on what’s going to be best for the long term.”
