1. ARRIVE SINGAPORE Tour begins: 6:30 PM, Marina Bay Sands Singapore. 2. SINGAPORE’S CULTURAL CROSSROADS Your day begins with an orientation to this island city-state by coach and on neighborhood walks in Chinatown, Little India and Little Arabia. At the Asian Civilisations Museum you’ll learn about the ancient cultures from which the peoples of Singapore have come. 3. GARDEN CITY SIGHTS &  EMBARK SHIP On a visit to Gardens by the Bay, you’ll find “supertrees” of steel and concrete designed to support vertical gardens of bromeliads, ferns and orchids, and climate-controlled conservatories that showcase tropical plants and gardens that use solar energy to light the sky at night. 4.  DAY AT SEA – ON TO HO CHI MINH CITY Following the sights and sounds of Singapore, a day at sea aboard Le Soléal or L’Austral offers a gracious opportunity to unwind. 5.  ”UP” RIVER TO HO CHI MINH CITY Midafternoon a local guide boards the ship to accompany your sail “up” the Saigon River to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), sharing stories of this historic river. After disembarking at a city pier in the early evening, gain a firsthand view of this fast-growing city from the Skydeck of the Bitexco Financial Tower. Next, savor an introduction to Vietnamese cuisine, combining fresh ingredients with the best of Chinese and French influences, during dinner at a local restaurant.
