Colter Products are offering a NEW range of ‘off the Shelf’ Din rail mounting relay modules that offer fuse failure indication for each relay output. The modules use the Bussmann mechanical fuse failure indication on each circuit to provide an alarm signal which can be connected to a PLC which in turn can flag an alarm on a SCADA system directing maintenance to an identifiable individual relay.

particularly useful in large control systems. 1,4,8 &16 channel relay modules are available as shown in the photograph. Relay Coil voltages are typically 24Vdc but 12 & 48Vdc are also offered.

MB Redundancy Balance - Share the Load

aximum machine availability is an important factor for success in industrial processes. To maximize availability, power supply systems in these machines are often designed with redundancy using two separate power supply units.

Redundancy Balance, optimizes such systems. It decouples the two power supply units and ensures an automatic 50:50 balancing of power between the two units. Therefore, both units are evenly engaged and the load isn't only on one device. Both units are able to work together: neither unit sits idle and neither unit has to work at its limit.

orbar Torque Tools is proud to announce the launch of its Pneutorque® PTM-92-4000, a powered torque multiplier ideal for the open cast mining industry where large haul trucks are used. The PTM-92-4000 replaces Norbar’s PTM-92-3500 in the existing PTM-92 series. The new multiplier offers an increase in torque output from the 92mm gearbox, made possible with a new output carrier manufactured from a high strength, specialist steel. The update comes as part of Norbar’s on-going policy of continual improvement.
