NEMEX 2013 Schneider Electric

Nemex show sponsor Schneider Electric will be demonstrating its range of integrated digital energy-efficiency solutions. These include StruxureWare, a platform of integrated software applications and suites to help maximise busi- ness performance while conserving resources. The platform is scalable, and eas- ily integrated with existing and third-party systems.

Also being launched at the show is SmartStruxure, effectively a building management system which integrates customised hard- ware, software, engineering, installation and services to manage facilities efficiently and reduce operating costs.

Sustainable Property Assessments (SPA)

SPA has developed an energy and sustainability assessment and solution system specifically tai- lored to SMEs.

The process includes assessment, production of a full report and specific recommendations for each client. A typical SPA rating report includes: analysis of energy and utility bills and calcula- tion of key metrics for the building, a three-hour on-site inspection and staff interviews, a 40-page report and a SPA sustainability rating across 10 factors with structured recommendations. These include costed solutions such as lighting, insulation, water-saving recommendations etc, assess- ment for suitability for on-site renewables and a staff engagement programme. The entire pro- cess can be completed in four weeks and costs £495 plus VAT for properties up to 20,000sq ft.
