SAFER PARKING SCHEME

THIRTY YEARS OF CUSTOMER CARE

Cophall Farm Parking, which offers a meet and greet service, has just completed its second year as a Park Mark award holder and has successfully retained the award following a recent re-assessment by Sussex Police Accredited Assessor, Dennis Donovan and Mike Bibby, the BPA area manager. Since being accredited in October 2010, there have not been any relevant incidents reported. On investigation, the assessors discovered that the family-run business has not had a recorded incident for more than 30 years. Bibby reported that there are good management practices in place at Cophall Farm, and customers’ vehicles are being well cared for. Regular checks mean that any issues are kept to an absolute minimum. All the staff wear identifiable uniforms and ID badges so customers, especially for the meet and greet part of the operation, can be confident their vehicles are being handed over to the legitimate company they have booked in with. Security of the site, especially for customer’s keys, is stringent, including regular patrols and electronic surveillance.

Bibby said: ‘I am pleased the award has been retained as Cophall Farm Parking are worthy holders of the Park Mark. Airport parking has received adverse publicity in recent months and customers can be assured their vehicles are being well cared for.’
