Ramco Finalizes Master Supply Agreement with Emirates
Ramco Systems, a global aviation software provider, has signed a master supply agreement with Emirates. This contractual agreement requires Ramco Systems to implement Reliability Information Management System for Emirates Engineering department. “It’s been a great start to the new year with Ramco adding Emirates to its growing Aviation customers,” said Virender Aggarwal, CEO, Ramco Systems. “We have signed the master supply agreement for five years with the Emirates Group, the world’s largest commercial carrier. We have been growing our footprint in the global aviation industry and are excited about this undertaking, which opens up opportunities for future business endeavors.” P. R. Billson Appointed President/CEO of BBA Aftermarket BBA Aviation appointed Peg Billson as president and CEO of the BBA Aviation Aftermarket Services division. BBA Aviation’s Aftermarket Services division comprises all of BBA Aviation’s market leading aftermarket services companies including Ontic, Dallas Airmotive, Premier Turbines, H+S Aviation, International Turbine Service, W.H. Barrett Turbine Engine Company, International Governor Services and APPH. In her new role, Billson assumes overall leadership responsibility for the division and will continue to serve on the BBA Aviation Executive Committee. “By gathering these market leading companies under one operating division we are better able to service our customers and strategically expand BBA Aviation’s global aftermarket offering,” says Billson. “Our operating businesses will continue to be managed under their own leadership teams and will work together where appropriate to innovate and to enhance our service.” Billson joined BBA Aviation in 2009 as president of BBA Aviation Legacy Support which comprised Ontic and Legacy Support Houston. Previously, she held various leadership roles with Eclipse Aviation, Honeywell Aerospace and McDonnell Douglas. Billson earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle University, Arizona and a Masters degree in Engineering, Aerospace from California State University.
Sherwin-Williams Adds Mullins to Leadership Team
Gulfstream plans to increase employment at its Appleton, Wis., facility by approximately 100 positions in the next year to support growing volume in completions work for Gulfstream large-cabin aircraft, including the recently certified G650. The site currently has approximately 725 employees, including nearly 425 technicians. “With the certification of the G650, Gulfstream Appleton will increase its delivery rates to meet the needs of customers,” said Dennis Stuligross, senior vice president, Operations, Gulfstream. “This increase requires adding jobs ranging from Materials to Engineering positions. With this expansion of the Gulfstream Appleton site, we can further grow our business and help support this great community.” Gulfstream Appleton is home to a completions center and service center. It has approximately 275,000 square feet of hangar, shop and support space.
