Tamarack Appoints Schneider to Board of Directors

board of directors. His extensive experience in the aerospace sector, combined with his financial expertise, makes for a logical fit as we move our company forward.” Schneider founded CVE Corp., a check and credit card processing company 29 years ago. Schneider has been involved in numerous acquisitions and merger transactions. He provides investment, financing, consulting and guidance to a number of businesses related to the payments, call center, ethanol, agricultural, and aviation industries. John R. Reimers, CEO of Tamarack Aerospace Group, commented, “The addition of Mike Schneider to Tamarack’s board of directors as we begin our launch of a variety of private, commercial, military and engineering projects could not have come at a better time.”


Dallas Airmotive Restructures U.S. Sales Organization Dallas Airmotive has restructured its U.S. sales organization. “We are redeploying our people assets in a more focused and regionalized approach,” says Willy Harmon, VP Sales. “This will bring our sales team closer to key customer locations, require less travel, and enable faster response time.” Dallas Airmotive U.S. sales will now be organized around territorial directors supported by a team of regional engine managers. “Each of our sales personnel will now represent our entire product offering so that customers will have one point of contact,” continues Harmon. As a result of the restructuring, the following personnel will assume new or expanded duties. Jim Blasingame, senior sales director will handle the company’s major accounts, OEM relationships, and sales support. Blasingame formerly handled sales for Rolls-Royce engine services and company fleet accounts. Jeff Turner is appointed territorial director for the Western USA. He had served as sales director for Pratt & Whitney Canada programs. Jeff Dunn is now territorial director for Central USA. Dunn had served as regional engine manager for

Embraer Executive Jets signs MoU with Indamer


Embraer Executive Jets has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indamer to provide maintenance support for the midsize Legacy 500 aircraft, ahead of the jets’ expected entry into service in 2014. The Legacy 500 is currently in the flight test stage following the successful maiden flight of the first prototype on 27th November, 2012. “The MoU we are announcing illustrates our commitment to our customers’ peace of mind by providing the best possible customer support infrastructure for current and future operations of Embraer Executive Jets aircraft in the country,” said André Luis Vieira de Sousa, director Customer Support and Services, Asia Pacific – Embraer Executive Jets. “By looking ahead, we will ensure the efficient operation for all our business aircraft operating in the region.”


Indamer is one of an initial 17 service centers worldwide to enter into MoUs with Embraer Executive Jets for Legacy 500 product support. The move is part of the company’s maturity strategy to have all product support in place worldwide before the Legacy 500 jet enters into service in 2014.


The MoU with Indamer extends the maintenance service provider’s mission in India, where


it already offers line and base maintenance for the entire portfolio of Embraer’s Executive Jets in India, including the entry-level Phenom 100, super-midsize Legacy 600, long-range Legacy 650 and ultra-large Lineage 1000. Indamer is one of two authorized service providers for Embraer Executive Jets in the country; the other is Air Works Limited.


InterSky Select ATR for Maintenance


ATR and the Austrian carrier InterSky have signed a maintenance agreement for a period of five years. The agreement covers the supply of spare parts and maintenance services for two new ATR 72-600s. Their first ATR -600 has been delivered with the second one expected in March.


Under this contract, ATR will handle the complete management of the equipment, including


the repair of line replaceable units (LRUs), the maintenance and availability of propellers, the advanced exchange pool of services, plus an inventory of spare parts on lease at InterSky’s premises. InterSky will receive guaranteed availability of spares, reduced maintenance costs and simplified maintenance procedures, says ATR. “We are delighted to have signed this contract with InterSky, the first Austrian carrier to have


introduced the ATR -600 aircraft in the country,” says Lilian Braylé, ATR’s senior VP Product Support & Services. “We are proud to see that InterSky placed its confidence in our expertise as an aircraft manufacturer to handle logistic support facilities worldwide.”
