bespoke event for surface


materials, plays host to an inspirational range of exhibitors showcasing surface design solutions from pioneering natural stone and living materials to illuminated surfaces and coatings that can be used as flooring.


Surface Design Show is now firmly recognised as a key event to attend for architects, interior designers and specifiers, with over 4000 visitors expected through the doors of the Business Design Centre in Islington, London 5th - 7th February 2013.


Surface Design Show 2013 features thought-provoking and inspiring talks, seminars and live debates to enrich the exhibition. These include the FX Live Debate hosted by Aiden Walker and an energetic PechaKucha presentation with Felix Mara from AJ. Future Thinking, a popular display of emerging

materials and technology, will highlight the


philosophy behind


the development and selection of materials for architecture and design. Product innovation this year includes showcases from Bottle Alley Glass with their translucent splash-backs made from recycled glass. Decustik will be displaying their exclusive Degrafik technology, which allows the reproduction of images in relief on flat surfaces for both indoor and outdoor use. Telling Architectural is launching their awesome Lucem Light Transmitting Concrete Interactive facades.

The winners of the Surface Design Awards, launched this year to recognise progressive design and the use of innovative surfaces, will be announced on Thursday 7th, the last day of the show.
