KVB Design Freistil Showroom Germany
A Show-stopping Showroom
Rolf Benz has recently commissioned KVB Design to create a retail idea that reflects their corporate identity and provides the ideal platform for the launch of the brand new freistil brand. The team liaised with Rolf Benz to develop a showroom brief that suited the premium brand, whilst developing a vibrant new atmosphere to appeal to the younger audience that freistil attracts.
One of the key ideas for the showroom was that it be a different kind of experience to other furniture showrooms. The central walkway offers this unique look, bringing the showroom

a sense of the fashion world that gives the product portfolio a fresh and vibrant appearance. This walkway, ceiling raft and individual
product areas all work together to add a real flowing space that is intimate and invigorated. Light plays a huge role in the design, with directional spot lighting and a distinctive colour palette helping to subtly guide shoppers through and into the retail space. The centre of the retail space features a timber slatted box construction that defines the retail space. This features meeting tables, a kitchen and a café style area that suits the
overall showroom theme perfectly. “Working together with KVB Design on building an innovative and inspiring “home base” for our new brand freistil was a very creative and professional process,” explains Andreas Lechner, Director of Communications ROLF BENZ AG & Co. “The team from KVB Design came up with a showroom concept that brought our brand values to life and created the perfect space for our customers to get the full product and brand experience”.
