Senior Mechanical Design Engineer


Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Welwyn Garden City. AAC is an expanding M & E contractor looking to consolidate its existing design capabilities and has a requirement for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. The engineers main responsibilities will be all aspects of the design and specification of mechanical building services installation, including surveying, quality inspections, dealing with contractors, report writing and project control and management. Suitable candidate must hold a degree/HNC/HND in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent by experience, ideally chartered with MCIBSE, CEng. Good working knowledge of Cymap/Hevacomp and Autocad and other software design packages are essential. Ideal applicants will have 10-15 years plus post graduate experience or equivalent in working on building services design projects in sectors such as Health, Retail, High End Residential, Schools etc and be a car driver/owner. Technical and project management experience in all types of mechanical systems, a positive working attitude and good communication skills are essential. Excellent salary is offered for the right individual.
