ing their third SkateFest this season. T ey worked with the Castle Ice Arena coach- ing and arena staff to bring the fun-fi lled skate day on Jan. 9 to more than 160 participants in Renton, Wash. SkateFest events provide opportunities for skaters of all ages to participate
in free group lessons based on their experience levels, while having the chance to meet and be coached by members of the Disson Skating show cast in that particu- lar city. T e Disson Skating show titled “Pandora Unforgettable Moments of Love on Ice” took place Jan. 11 at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash. SkateFests are a great way for families to experience skating for the fi rst time
and for current skaters to be inspired by the sport’s legends. On hand to help teach the lessons were skating stars Nancy Kerrigan, Nicole
Bobek, Michael Weiss, Ben Agosto and Kimmie Meissner. Participants and fans displayed their excitement when the stars hit the ice and were introduced.
