A wee birthday cake on the nose
CANADA
October was a very busy month for the Canadian branch. First off , it celebrated its fi rst anniversary with back-to-back grand tastings in Calgary and Edmonton. The highlight of the Calgary event, other than the 12 fantastic whiskies released for the occasion, was a huge cake made in the shape of a Society bottle, with a customised label. The following weekend, the team fl ew to British Columbia for events in Vancouver and Victoria, to celebrate its launch in that province.

A very special welcome to our new Japanese and Mandarin- speaking readers. This is the fi rst issue of Unfi ltered to be translated into both languages, for the Society’s large and growing far-Eastern membership.
