Art, writing and whisky: A match made in heaven


distillery is a true enigma in today’s big business world of whisky producers and, until this issue, few if any outsiders had even tasted the whisky since it started up six years ago. We’ve also spoken to


tomorrow’s distillers and whisky makers, who didn’t give


us quite the responses many would expect. They’re an adventurous, unconventionally minded and ambitious bunch and are determined to put their stamp on the world of whisky. It’s going to be very interesting to see how they get on over the years. And we’ve looked back at the


26 Malts project, that the Society was part of in 2005. It was a very brave decision to entrust 26 of our precious single casks to a group of excited creatives, but the results still have people talking today. Enjoy.
