The hottest news for 2013 is the announcement of a strategic partnership with Orion Teamwear which promises to raise Blue Max Bannerʼs game significantly in the competitive Sportswear sector.

The exclusive collection has been designed to meet the exacting requirements of todayʼs sports players. Each item in the nine piece capsule collection is constructed from a high performance, technical fabric that, in true Blue Max Banner style, combines quality with durability and affordability. Choose from three colour options in the initial range and sizes that cater to both children and adults. The range comprises:

n Reversible rugby shirt n Polo shirt n Splash top n Track suit pants (adult and junior) n Games shorts n Skort n Hooded sweatshirt n T shirt Orion Teamwear is the brainchild of Richard Metcalfe, a former rugby international whose understanding and knowledge of the rugby circuit has enabled the development and refinement of a high performance teamwear collection which caters to a number of different sports disciplines. It is already a well-established and respected business and currently supplies kit to the

Newcastle rugby team, The Falcons, as well as many other prestigious clubs. Nigel Plenderleith, Blue Max Bannerʼs managing director explains the rationale for the introduction: “The legacy of the London 2012 Olympics will continue to present a huge opportunity for sportswear distributors over the next few years. We have been looking at expanding our sportswear proposition for some time now and Orion is a perfect fit. We are confident that the addition of this range will strengthen our offering and open up several more routes to the sportswear market.”

New cotton-rich socks

Also new to the companyʼs range for 2013 is a range of cotton-rich socks and tights. The introduction follows the hugely successful launch of the High Performance Sports Socks range last year which has exceeded all expectations in sales.

The new collection includes Cotton Rich Knee High socks, Short Socks, Tights, and Trainer Liners in senior and junior sizes.

Commenting on the addition, Nigel Plenderleith adds: “Our objective is to provide a top-to-toe garment solution for our customers. The one thing missing from our line-up is everyday hosiery. Hence the introduction of this latest collection which combines all the quality characteristics of the Blue Max Banner clothing range combined with an unbeatable price point.”

Each item features sizes on the bottom for easy identification by busy mums and the trainer socks are embroidered with the days of the week and sad and happy

For 2013, the company has used the Snowgoose fabric in the construction of a Reversible Showerproof Jacket, available in a choice of seven colours and junior and senior sizes.

Last but not least is the Pembroke
