DMOs; and Roger Rickard, founder of industry-specialty organization Revent LLC. MacMillan and Rickard will serve as moderators for the program’s inaugural event, which is sponsored by IMEX America and will take place at the Hilton Orlando on Sunday, Jan. 13. “Bruce and Roger are the ideal
contributors and facilitators for this program,” said Deborah Sexton, PCMA’s president and CEO. “Bruce is particularly plugged in to the challenges of DMOs and their constituents, backed by his years of industry experience and his pre- vious CEO position in Toronto. Roger is a well-respected industry advocacy expert and excels in the development and deployment of actionable campaigns.” The format of the Industry Business
Forum will include confidential dialogues between participants and industry experts, group discussions, and presentations of case studies by DMOs and convention-center managers from all over the world. The lively conversa- tions between leaders in destinations and facility management during PCMA’s CEO Summit at Convening Leaders 2012 was the original incubator for the forum series, which is designed to enhance attendees’ business knowl- edge on global industry trends. PCMA’s Industry Business Forum
