Alfredo is a Tax Partner based in the Mexico City and New York offices. He is currently the leader of the Latin America Tax Business Center (LABC).
Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Alfredo was a partner at the Tax department for Deloitte in Mexico City. While at Deloitte, he gained significant experience serving in the following leadership roles: Leader of International Taxes for Mexico and Latin America Region, Clients and Markets Leader for Tax in Mexico and Latin America, Tax Leader for the Energy and Natural Resources Industry.
Alfredo served as member of the Global Business Model Optimization Council, the Young Partners Advisory Council of the Global CEO of Deloitte for Fiscal Year 2009, as well as regularly participating in the Deloitte Global Tax and Global Strategy meetings.
Areas of expertise Alfredo advices national and multinational companies on international tax matters involving a wide range of transactions.
Alfredo has a Public Accountant Degree from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).
Alfredo was also a teacher in corporate tax and international taxation at the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).
Alfredo served as member of the Global Business Model Optimization Council, the Young Partners Advisory Council of the Global CEO of Deloitte for Fiscal Year 2009, as well as regularly participating in the Deloitte Global Tax and Global Strategy meetings.
