The ethical foundations of the jewellery industry have been called into question over the last few years. Jewellers are increasingly being asked to give account to the human rights, environmental and conflict free nature of the materials that they use. The NAG and BJA in response to these critical issues have been in an extensive national consultation with all aspects of the UK jewellery supply chain to gain an in-depth understanding of the issues. This seminar and Q&A session will be the Ethical Committee’s opportunity to unveil some of its findings and offer concrete recommendations to the UK jewellery trade.
