The watch and jewellery supply chain is increasingly being asked: ‘Do you know where your gold comes from?’ Initiatives such as the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and Section 1502 of the USA Dodd-Frank Act are redirecting this question to knowing your gold refiner. This session will address:
• why conflict-sensitive sourcing has become important, and the role of refiners • the LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance • the RJC Chain-of-Custody Standard • connections between industry initiatives Questions will be taken.

The Debate gives everyone the opportunity to air views and share experiences.
