(73 percent) prefer to be directly billed or use a check when paying for an event at a hotel or other venue; 36 percent prefer

Square Footage of Largest Exposition

Respondents report that, on average, their largest exposition has

approximately 104,978 net square feet, up from 90,800 net square feet averaged last year.

Total Room Pickup

Three-fifths of respondents (60 percent) indicated that the total room pickup (all hotels) for their largest meeting was under 2,500.

Location of Exhibits

Respondents are more likely to hold exhibits in convention centers (58 percent) than in hotels (50 percent).
