 Carrying the cycle shop baton on from his Dad, Ben is bringing Chamberlaine Cycles into the 21st Century online, has negotiated contracts with a variety of cycle companies and is Cytech trained to boot.


Taking care of South West area sales for Silverfish, Yates joined Silverfish last summer from a past of competitive road seasons in France and wet MTB racing in the ‘90s, and a spell with British Cycling.

 Gallagher is CRC’s in-house videographer, keeping busy filming and editing for the retailer at global events and special projects. Lately he’s been shooting action at Sea Otter and with Vitus ambassador Sean Kelly.


NAME: Declan Deehan COMPANY: Hotlines


 Lynn, now 23, started with Mountain Mania at the tender age of 16. Now, via college, he’s full-time and has worked his way up to manage the shop’s fourth outlet in Goring, working closely with the local community.


 Despite only being in the biz for a year, Wood has set up a new brand – Electrifying Cycles – selling e-bikes and boosting turnover of its parent by 20 per cent. He handles strategy, sales, marketing and product selection.


As sales team leader, Deehan has been key in pushing through Hotlines’ focus on customer service and deals that work for dealers. He left a high flying exec chef role to take the role two years ago.

 Deniz Erkan is the owner of Hadron Cycles, based on Hornsey Road in London. The shop serves up an offering of repairs, bike builds and even training – providing helpful guidance to budding enthusiasts and pros.

At 24, Scott is fast, accurate and has a nose for a good story, working as news editor on RoadCyclingUK and Bike Magic. With a foot in the road and MTB camps, Scott has bagged interviews with Cav, among others.


 Dealing with warranty claims is a tough job – with upset customers or dealers with warranty issues. But Horton is professional and friendly, sporting top knowledge and his secret weapon of pork scratchings.
