Two new box pallets from Milford IBC will help drive efficiency in the supply chain. B

oth outbound and inbound ef- ficiency are key ingredients for a profitable and competitive supply chain. The old saying of “space is money” has never been truer. In many supply chains, having the facility to free up space by using folding handling solutions can achieve huge savings. Milford IBC has supplied folding mate- rial handling solutions for over 25 years and has just announced the addition of two new folding handling solutions to its range. The Milford KLK folding all- plastic box pallet is manufactured in high density polyethylene and is available in two different sizes: 1200x1000x1000mm with a capac- ity of 900l and 1200x800x1000mm with a capacity of 700l.

The KLK range has been developed to overcome some of the drawbacks associated with other all-plastic fold- ing box pallets. A smooth internal and external finish helps to keep the units clean and also avoid the build-up of water when stored outside. The Milford KLK also has a very impressive load

carrying capacity of 750kg. Another unique feature of the KLK is the facility to have from one to four drop-down access gates to allow very easy access to your product. The new range can easily be custom- ised to each user’s requirements with the

facility for large printing areas, label holders, custom colours, sequential num- bering, internal divider systems and many more customised options available. In summary, the KLK’s benefits are: • Rigid high density,

polyethylene construction; • Foldable side,

front and rear gates;

• Four-way entry for fork trucks and pallet jacks;

• Custom colours with order over 1,000 units;

• Inter-stackable when full or empty;

• Volume optimised sides; • Folds to a ratio of 1:3 to maximise space for transportation. n
