Born To Die finished as the second top seller of Q1. Sales of 354,874 of the Polydor album
helped to give the major a 32.1% share of full- and mid-price album sales, the best since it enjoyed a bumper last three months of 2010 thanks partly to Take That’s record-breaking Progress. Alongside Del Rey, Universal also
delivered one of the other big debut albums released in the quarter with Decca

Twilight and Canadian Alyssa Reid’s (inset) reworking of Heart’s Alone peaking at two.
