BERLIN duo Session Victim deliver warm, soulful gold with their debut album for Jimpster’s Delusions of Grandeur – out this week on CD and vinyl before a digital release on the 11th of June. Opening track ‘Dark Sienna’, above, gives a taster of what to expect, deep house that’s rooted in

Dutch producers Mason defy any easy categorisation. Masters of electro in all its varying forms, including A&Ring for their on-point Animal Language label, their recent ‘Animal Language Refurbished’ showed their musical prowess and sense of fun, ‘refurbishing’ label tracks — also included in their original form — into


entirely new genres, from monastic chanting to reggae. They’re in full-on dancefl oor mode for their podcast though, which includes both sides of forthcoming single ‘Chihuahua/The Kickoff’ (due early June), alongside the likes of Etienne De Crecy, Hey Today! and Will Bailey.
