The award recognizes the design-in success, sales growth, new product promotions, ease of doing business as well as the exceptional and innovative efforts applied by Avnet Abacus.

Molex presents Global Distributor of the Year award to Avnet Electronics Marketing

The Molex Global Distributor of the Year award recognizes valued partners demonstrating financial, operational and executive management excellence. Avnet achieved the highest score on operations metrics and had the largest percent growth of lines stocked. Avnet further expanded the Molex global reach by promoting and stocking all of the new products introduced in FY11. Distributors were evaluated based on criteria in three categories,
including: » Financial: Year over year sales growth
» Operational: Inventory management, new product support, order coverage, among other factors.
» Management: Accessibility to management team, training program support, feedback on pricing strategy, etc.
