Pico-EZmate™


Sensors that measure very small changes in a physical parameter must be highly sensitive in order to make small adjustments to what is measured. There is an increasing requirement for making sensors smaller to fit into smaller applications. Molex offers the ideal interconnect solution for this.

Molex’s 1.20mm pitch Pico-EZmate™ connectors are compact and low-profile, offering a mated height of 1.55mm for 2 to 5 circuit and 1.65mm for 6 circuit versions for miniature wire-to-board applications. The Pico-EZmate™ system includes secure locking features between the receptacle housing and header, along with an audible click to ensure mating. The top-entry mating direction allows excellent workability in production lines. The receptacle is mated vertically with the header, which enables easy placement in tight packaging applications. The header design also provides sufficient


space to allow stable pick-and-place operations into standard SMT vacuum pick-up nozzle. No additional kapton tape or plastic cap is required. The headers are packed in embossed tape packing for automatic insertion equipment. Both header and receptacle housings are made from a halogen-free resin with a 94V-0 rated material.
