Contents Dear Reader,

Despite perceived government funding cuts for schools, recent research from BESA reveals a return of market confidence as procurement across UK primary and secondary schools increased by 8.6 per cent in Quarter 1 of 2012, when compared to Quarter 1 of 2011. With this in mind, we highlight two events that key buyers and decision makers should visit: TES Resources London which takes place from 14-15 September (p8) and the Academies Show 2012, which you had better get your skates on for - doors open on 16th May at Olympia London (p14)!

Also this month, we focus on training, support and development in Special Educational Needs (p12); while in Focus on Primary we discover more innovative ways of teaching Numeracy (p16).

All this in addition to product features on Music and IT, ICT – Networking and Communications; Exterior Refurbishment and Maintenance, and School Caterers – enjoy the issue!
