Portable flow meter’s offer accuracy and reliability
Visitors to Micronics’ stand will see its compre- hensive range of Clamp-On ultrasonic Liquid flow, Heat and Energy flow meters for industry and commerce including the new U1000 fixed Clamp- On flow meter. The PF330/220 portable range continues to maintain Micronics’ position as the leading UK manufacturer of portable Clamp-On instruments.
Micronics said that its portables have always been regarded as the simplest to set-up and operate and this essential feature for portable instruments has been carried through in the PF330/220 with great success.
The U4000 has now established itself as Micronics’ “Clamp-On” fixed meter solution for Building Services and Industrial applications incor-
porating the latest digital ultrasonic measurement technology to provide easier set-up and commis- sioning with enhanced accuracy and reliability in operation. Savings of up to 90% have been estab- lished for fixed meter installations in comparison with traditional in-line meter installations.

Process Solutions (SPS) is making a welcome return to IWEX in 2012 after an absence of two years. The UK-based firm has continued to devel- op its range of solutions for the water industry, recently completing projects for utility businesses, overseas mines, food processing companies and even farmers facing water shortages in the UK. SPS provides solutions to the water and associ- ated industries, supported by its fleet of packaged lamella DAF units, lamella clarifiers, reaction tanks and associated equipment, which are available for hire or purchase. In response to water shortages, SPS is keen to draw attention to how its mobile, packaged DAF / flocculation tank systems can play a contingency role in the pre-treatment of water abstracted from non-standard sources.
