BWise (British Water Innovation Search Engine) is a purpose-built engine to search for products, processes and systems, for example, by the benefits it will bring, what it is, and where it can be used or applied. By using a simple, common format template, tearchers can easily pick out the important infor- mation needed to be able to understand the innovation and assess its potential. Donna Bushell Event Director, Sustainabilitylive! Chance to win a Nintendo Wii
Instrumentation specialist Ashtead Technology is to give away a Nintendo Wii every day at IWEX. However, in order to win the Wii, visitors will have to return to the company’s stand within 60 sec- onds of being texted and tweeted.
Visitors to Ashtead Technology’s stand will be given a raffle ticket in exchange for their mobile phone number. A draw will take place at 2.30pm on every day; the winner will be texted and tweet- ed, and if he or she can return to the stand within 60 seconds, they will win a brand new Nintendo Wii Console with sports package. Ashtead’s marketing manager Stewart Curtis said “Anyone arriving after the 60 seconds will be disqualified, as will anyone caught rugby tackling other contenders!” The Ashtead Technology stands will also pro- vide visitors with an opportunity to see a range of the latest testing and monitoring technologies.
Curtis said: “The intention is to provide visitors with an opportunity to ‘have a go’ with some of the latest instruments.”
