Product News ABUS TITALIUMTM – Launch Deals

During March and April ABUS’ sales team have been introducing the new Titalium concept securing retailer stand deals and stock commitments across the UK. Meanwhile ABUS UK Sales Director David Hudson has been equally busy gaining commitment from UK wholesale partners Aldridge, HOPPE & Toolbank and commented: “The strong, lightweight & innovative features Titalium, coupled with the POS & marketing back up available have made this a must have for both our retailer & wholesale customers. While ‘another range of padlocks’ might have been a difficult sell, the ABUS Titalium package has been a breeze. I am pleased to report our retail customers can expect full stock support from their chosen wholesaler.” Retail & wholesale

commitment to Titalium, a range weighing 30% less than brass, costing less than brass, but stronger than brass is easy with the merchandising deals supporting this launch. Three deals are available. For retailers already

stocking the full ABUS padlock portfolio, a special half metre version of the

‘Shop in Store’ units has been

designed to accommodate a full complement of Titalium, backed by the 83 series and E60 Euro cylinders enabling retailers to now merchandise their total ABUS range on one & a half metres of innovative ‘SiS’ merchandising. The total RRP ex VAT of this ‘SiS’ deal is £1,459.11. The WE92 deal is the ideal unit for newcomers and converts to ABUS.

Carrying a full complement of 25 Titalium padlocks, from close shackle security to 20mm combinations, this compact POS unit taking less floor space than a person is the ideal silent padlock salesman, and at £745.77 total RRP will make a good ROI. For customers who either want a small padlock selection, and or want to

benefit from impulse security sales at the till can opt for the solid compact counter unit that comes with a selection of 8 Titalium padlocks and a very acceptable total RRP of £463.74. All Titalium deals come with a further selection of POS, including consumer leaflets, wobblers, and counter mats.
