Your new NUT Executive 

Balloting in the Executive elections closed at midday on 28 March and the results have been received from the Electoral Reform Services.

Executive elections took place in districts 5, 8, 9, 10, 14 and 27, together with voting for members to represent the equality constituency seats for black, disabled and LGBT members. The full election results can be found on the NUT website at www.teachers.org.uk/your-union/ elections.

Test these new financial tools for teachers

Teachers Assurance (TA), endorsed by the NUT, is launching a range of resources to help teachers deal with their finances.

Last year TA consulted teachers to find out what services they wanted. As a result, a series of free talks on subjects including pensions and tax-efficient savings and investments will be available this autumn.

The talks will include tuition on how to use new online tools to help make financial decisions. These will include pension, savings and budget calculators.
