Offi cers Raise Awareness for Safe Harbor


Partner with Wisconsin Quaker Steak and Lube Restaurant


and parts of the Upper Peninsula joined up with motorcycling citizens as they made their way throughout Wisconsin’s coun- tryside. 142 motorcycle riders and 110 people participated in the 8th annual Safe Harbor Ride, winding through the back roads of Wisconsin, spreading awareness of Safe Harbor and showing off the state’s beautiful back country. After the 100- mile ride, the event fi nished at Quaker Steak & Lube, 2259 Deming Way, in Middleton Wisconsin, as they provided a buffet for all participants and live music by The Blue Olives. Over $17,598 was raised for Safe Harbor.

tatewide law enforcement hopped on their Police motorcycles on August 20, 2011 to support the Ron Boylan Motorcycle Ride to Benefi t Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center. The name of the ride was changed to honor Chief Deputy Ron Boylan of the Dane County WI Sheriff’s Offi ce who lost his battle with cancer. Police Offi cers from throughout Wisconsin


Safe Harbor is a private not-for-profi t agency that provides


services for children who have been abused, neglected or who have witnessed a violent crime. Safe Harbor is a safe and friendly place for a child to talk about what has happened to them, and receive services that help them and their non-offend- ing caregivers heal.
