Stone Island start their 30th birthday celebrations early…


A couple of weeks ago DJmag was invited to take a sneaky preview of the Brewer Street store opening for Stone Island. It was, as you can imagine, a typically trend-busting affair, with Gilles Peterson on the decks, free booze and t-shirt giveaways. To say the least, we were well chuffed. Later this year Stone Island celebrate their 30th birthday not only with a new London store but also a forthcoming A/W collection that’s going to seriously wind you up. We’re talking thermo-reflective, heritage pieces and technical knits. Bliss!


WeLLY UP Havaianas rain boots are good to go…


FOR all you flip-flop fanatics out there, you know who you are — we saw you flopping about in them a couple of weeks ago when the sun came out. It seemed like a good idea, but really you need to be realistic and get yourselves some sensible footwear. Surprisingly Havaianas have a collection that not only includes summery stuff, but also socks, pumps and wellies (or rain boots as they prefer to call them).
