USA Volleyball’s Beach Divi- sion recently announced the members of its debut elite
development team. The members of the 2012 team will benefi t from services offered by USA Volleyball while continuing to train for future international competitions. Members of the team have their sights set on the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. “The players have all been a part of our program in the past,” said Brady Compton, USA Volleyball’s technical coordinator for beach national teams. “We also had an application process based on event results in 2010 and 2011. And every single one of the players said the Olympics were one of their goals.” See chart of current players on page 28.
