Todd Rogers has recovered nicely from offseason knee surgery and said he was in the best shape of his life heading into the FIVB Swatch Beach Volleyball season opener April 17-22 in Brasilia, Brazil. Rogers and partner Phil Dalhausser worked much of the winter on the track at Santa Barbara City College incorporating sprints and jumps along with their regular sand workouts at East Beach. The defending Olympic beach volleyball gold medalists will start the 2012 season No. 2 in the FIVB rankings.
