How long have you been open? We have only been trading since November 2011. The shop was previously run as a franchise, but we’ve bought it out as an independent. It’s been an interesting few months starting out at the busiest time of the year and putting our own stamp on things.


What’s the competition like in your area? How are you dealing with it so far? We have quite tough competition with Asda,


Blockbuster, Cash Generator and Argos all close by. You have to play to your strengths. Whilst we can never expect to be the cheapest all the time, people know they can come to us for not only new, but also retro games, as well as advice and service they just don’t get at big retailers.


What are your hopes for the rest of 2012? We hope to improve our web presence in line with bigger stores, but first we

need to improve our inherited infrastructure to assist with that wish.


How important is it having that web presence? Obviously there are costs
