Croatia’s crown jewel, Hideout, announces another 30 acts for round two...


HAVING wedged itself fi rmly into the affections of the European party army with its fi rst party on the golden shores of the Island of Pag, Croatia, last June, the fi rst two waves of announced artists for the next Hideout brought a tsunami of talent carrying everything from the gnarly US dubstep of Skrillex to the dirty deep house of Jamie Jones. Now, with the fi nal announcement has come the killer blow. Adding to the long list of luminaries already on the landing strip – the likes of Kerri Chandler, Four Tet & Caribou; Maceo Plex, Claude VonStroke and Erol Alkan – the minds behind Sound Channel and Warehouse Project have dug deep to reach all-out diversity without sacrifi cing quality. Joining the ranks, Chase & Status (DJ set), Simian Mobile Disco, Loco Dice, Seth Troxler,


SBTRKT (DJ set), Benga and Tiga will command the more prominent slots, while the likes of Aeroplane, Art Department and Ben UFO join Eats Everything, Paul Woolfood and Nina Kraviz to ensure the line-up, already rammed to the rafters with dnb, dubstep and deep house, is stretched even further; drenched to the core with dancefl oor density.


So, before the you waste anymore of Auntie and Uncle’s Xmas cheques on another frivolous night down the local discotheque, scrape together some pennies and get planning for a long weekend in party paradise on 29th June – 1st July.
