BTU International’s TRITAN™ HV90 Dual-Lane Metallization Firing System Successfully Completes Marathon Test
BTU International, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment to the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, announces that its TRITAN™ HV90 dual-lane metallization fi ring system has successfully completed a marathon test, producing in excess of 60 million cells. “Customers want to switch to dual-lane metallization processing to achieve in excess of 35 percent higher capital effi ciency and up to 30 percent lower cost of ownership compared to single-lane processing,” said Bob Bouchard, product marketing manager for metallization products at BTU. “With this test completed, the HV90 has proven it can reliably deliver those benefi ts.”

The TRITAN HV90 dual-lane
metallization fi ring system features increased throughput at 3600 wafers per hour, an edge belt, volatile organic compound (VOC) abatement and a single zone spike with less than 3 seconds spike time. The TRITAN metallization fi ring system features BTU’s unique TriSpeed™ technology, allowing users to take advantage of
range of standard options with a high level of system security while signifi cantly reducing wiring, installation, commissioning and maintenance costs. Conforming to the international IEEE 802.15.4 standard and featuring a 16-bit address and 128-bit AES
superior ramp rates — up to 200ºC per second — while not compromising the drying and cooling sections of the profi le. The three-belt, three-speed system provides revolutionary control of profi le development. In trials, TRITAN has consistently shown an improvement in fi ll factor, resulting in increased effi ciency. security key, these wireless switches will provide presence and absence detection in remote parts of all types of machinery and will prove invaluable in all applications where wiring is not practical. Up to 16 switches can be networked and simply reconfi gured while issues with wire connection integrity on moving equipment are eliminated as is the need for wires, conduit, strain relief, clips, connectors and connection boxes. The switches connect using 802.15.4 RF 2.4 GHz standard radio bands and radio connection is license- free and global with WPAN 802. 15.4, 2.4 GHz. The communication range is up to 304 metres. RoHS compliant and with full EMI
immunity these new switches will fi nd use in application such as valve positioning, conveyors, cranes, jib and skew positioning, lifts, material handling door positioning, presses and CNC equipment. Visit
