FOLLOWING three sold out nights at Fabric during the summer, NY’s prodigious talent of techno Nicolas Jaar returns to the UK to play live at London’s Roundhouse on Thursday 2nd February as part of a Clown & Sunset Showcase dubbed the ‘Don’t Break My Love’ tour (hear the eponymous track above).


Praised to high heaven by everyone from dance critics to broadsheets journalists, the stark, textured sound of Nico’s debut album ‘Space Is Only Noise’ merged the experimental jazz of someone like Tom Waits with the tenets of austere techno – and then some. But, aside from his solo


work, his collaborative project as part of the Clown & Sunset Collective (for his label of the same name), alongside Soul Keita and Nikita Quasim, still sits as something of an enigma, despite coming to light on the sublime ‘Ines’ collection last November.


With Ethiopian musician and painter Soul Keita in support (alongside ex-Bar 25 resident Acid Pauli), plus live debuts of audio-visual works by Nico, this showcase is your insight to one of the most intriguing musical companies at large today
