Sentinel tool keeps watch
ECLIPSE Internet resellers can now better monitor the status of their end user ADSL services following the launch of the busi- ness ISP’s reseller management tool Sentinel.
This fully fledged version of the tool has been rolled out fol- lowing a successful trial. Sentinel, which is avail- able in two versions, contains a new range of diagnostics to help resellers understand in real time, and in more detail, the status of their customers’ ADSL Eclipse Internet services. The management tool, in its Premium version, notifies resellers of major service out- ages, as well as advanced alerts on intermittency, dropped lines and sync performance. Clodagh Murphy, Director at Eclipse Internet, commented: “Resellers have wanted more control and real time visibility of their connections so we lis- tened by developing Sentinel. “We know how beneficial, valuable and enhancing to a customer experience it is to be able to provide early warn- ings and swift interventions to resolve issues as they arise. “Sentinel provides our resell- ers with a tool that allows them to do exactly that and provide
