Hire Show Stand No. D60 Besides exhibiting a comprehensive selection of its latest compact wheeled loaders and attachments, Avant Tecno will be offering visitors to its stand a ‘Taste of Finland’, so expect things to be a little fishy! In addition, the company will be
promoting its new, specially tailored contract hire packages which will give rental companies the opportunity to acquire an Avant loader plus up to three suitable attachments, and even a trailer, for minimal outlay. For example, the ‘Builder 420’ package will be available from as little as £49 plus VAT per week. New on the stand will be an example
from the recently introduced revised 600 Series of machines complete with the new, spacious DLX cab designed to enhance the operator’s environment. This cab has larger areas of glass for improved all-round visibility, reduced noise levels and an optional air con system. Also on display for the first time will be the 260 lightweight digger arm which offers a maximum digging depth of 2600 mm.

Youngman Group Stand B55 Youngman will be using its stand at the forthcoming Executive Hire Show to launch several new products which are being added to its already comprehensive and highly successful range of access and lighting equipment. Of particular note will be the company’s latest aluminium tower - a mobile and
cranable version designed to be lifted as a complete, fully assembled unit with a choice of working heights from 4.2 to 10.2 m. With a maximum load carrying capability of 950 kg, these new towers are erected and dismantled using either ‘through the trap’ or Youngman’s Advance Guardrail System and feature floating spigots for ease of assembly, colour coded brace locks and patented double-action locking claws. The towers are available with a platform width of 0.85 m and lengths of either 1.8 or 2.5 m.
Also new is a full colour
version of the solar powered, trailer-mounted variable message sign (VMS). In addition to generating industry standard amber traffic messages, this VMS unit features a full matrix LED display measuring 2730 by 1850 mm capable of showing colour messages and moving images. Research has shown that motorists respond pro-actively to colour signs and it is therefore anticipated that these new signs will make a significant contribution towards road safety. Finally, this year’s show will be
the very first chance for visitors to see the latest developments in Youngman’s groundbreaking Camlock Advance Guardrail System and also the latest Adjusta- Minit folding work platform.
