Snapco

joined THS recently and has been quick to recognize the benefits and advantages of THS membership. As Steve Cullen explained to us, it is the difference between having the power of a £2 million company and a £65 million buying group. The advantages are obvious if you are in a position to make good use of them. Apart from strength in big numbers, THS also provides Snapco with the ability to buy many products at the correct terms and discounts, allowing them to compete with much larger companies. Snapco is full of praise for the THS special offers system and uses the well-

established online THS media centre to customise special offers on a regular basis. This has proved to be very successful. As a new member, Snapco has not only been quick to use the services and

systems that THS offers, but also with “fresh eyes” has been able to make some suggestions to THS to help improve services to other members. The response

from THS to opening suggestion channels has been very positive and they continue to serve their members by being open and eager for feedback. Looking to

the future, Snapco takes the optimistic view that hard times allow good people better opportunities to thrive. As a company they emphasize

how important it is for Snapco staff to fully understand the challenges of their customers when helping them to buy products. As an example of this, Steve Cullen stated: ”A less imaginative company might just reduce the cost of an abrasive to a customer by a few pence to gain business in the short term. A more imaginative company might recommend an abrasive that would reduce the time taken on the job by a significant amount and thus reduce costs permanently. Knowledge can be power in the right hands! By keeping abreast of changing needs, products and services, Snapco believes

that they can continue to meet their customers’ requirements into the future and continue to build the thriving Snapco business.
