Boys’

Development Program Launched

USA Men’s Head Coach, Nick Conway has created a development program in efforts to raise exposure of the sport amongst boys. Four regions throughout the country were selected to receive full financial support to start a boys’ club hockey league at the high school level: Pennsylvania, New York, Los Angeles and San Diego.

Conway hopes that these developmental programs throughout the United States will create a feeder system for the Men’s National Team (as shown in photo at left).

“What I’m trying to do is increase demand and create opportunities for boys to play so that they have their own environment to play in instead of playing on girls’ teams,” said Conway.
