Kenny Stewart reports: I have attached the results for the Piper of theYear competition, which was promoted by the Northern Ireland Piping Society and was held in the Adair Arms Hotel in Ballymena on Saturday 1st Oct.The adjudicator for the event was Niall Matheson from Inverness. The Piobaireachd was won by James Gore playing Lament for the Union and the overall trophy was won by Ashley McMichael (pictured above).
