NewYear, new business training
For the New Year, Liz McKeon is offering a workshop designed to help you grow your beauty business.
iiaa roadshowinspires excellence
As part of the International Institute of Anti-Ageing's Empowering Excellence Roadshow, the team travelled around the UK and Ireland presenting educational seminars. Delegates at the event in Dublin assembled a number of no-cost business-building strategies and learnt about key trends in the world of advanced facials, retailing and business success.
Jane Iredale brand manager Emma Doherty emphasised that creating make-up sales comes from both play stations that support the 'try before you buy' approach and applying relevant products after every treatment.
The audience was presented with photographs and a video about a new Frown Treatment from Environ and motivational coach Steve Head gave an interactive and entertaining presentation about focusing on what your business does well.

Essential skin care knowledge
Skin Essentials Ltd. is now offering their Scientific Skincare Analysis Method in a training course for therapists who wish to specialise in skin care.
Skin care expert Mariga Sheedy has identified a gap in the education market in relation to continuing education in skin care, in that post-graduate education is usually brand specific. Mariga has developed this course over 20 years of education and hands-on experience this course to give other skin care professionals the tools to deeply understand and correct skin function, and to offer advice on appropriate skin care with an unbiased opinion.

The Seven Steps to Growing a High Profit Beauty Business will be held on Monday 9th January in Dublin and Monday 23rd January in Cork. At the end of the busy interactive workshop, participants will be able to nurture and retain clients, guaranteeing repeat business, focus on their business and not the economy, be rigorous and smart with their marketing and advertising, have clarity about what they’re doing well and optimise their potential, and understand what motivates them and their team.
This is a highly enjoyable day that offers participants a great opportunity to get ready for 2012 and network with other people in the industry.
