I love the styling of this top. Its distinctive orange (white also an option) lines down the arms set it apart from a lot of other base-layers.

Power Traveller Power Monkey Extreme
They Say:
The powermonkey extreme is the culmination of feedback from real power users in some of the most remote locations on the planet.
GWA highlight:
If you expect to be away from a plug socket for a while this is a great, long-lasting power supply – depending on what you charge with it. Summary: The solar charging aspect is nothing to write home about though, although this problem is not unique to Power Monkey.
GWA rating: Price: £120.00 (RRP)

Icon Link flashlight They Say:
A high-output LED and TIR lens produce a brilliant beam that’s tightly focused at the high or low setting. And Link’s compact, modern body is machined from durable, high-strength aluminum and features an integrated
carabiner clip that permits multiple carry options. GWA highlight:
The Link’s party piece is its waterproofi ng. I’ve had mine sitting in a bowl of water, totally immersed, for 24 hours and it didn’t affect it at all. Also, being anodised Aluminium it won’t have problems around sea water.
Summary:
The Icon Link is a very tough, practical torch which can be clipped anywhere and forgotten about until you need it. Incredibly bright and focussed beam from a single AA battery means that you can pick out details which other small lights could leave you missing. A brilliant little companion.
GWA rating: Price: £19.00 (RRP)

Superfeet WoolyWhite Insoles
They Say:
Superfeet woolyWHITE is where cozy comfort meets biomechanical underfoot support.
GWA highlight:
The fi rst thing you notice about the WoolyWhites is that they’re wooly. Properly wooly, like a sheep. And the fi rst time you sink your foot into them it’s like treading barefoot on a cotton-wool carpet.
Summary:
Superfeet’s WoolyWhites are cosy and warm, don’t stink after a month in my hiking boots and are more comfortable than you think they’ll be when you feel them in a shop. It’s counter- intuitive, but the stiff heel cup doesn’t feel stiff at all when you walk on it – your foot does the padding… like it should. The only negative is the price at £42.95 which some may balk at.
GWA rating: Price: £42.95 (RRP)
