AKA: We love your new ediiTORIal website! How did the idea for it come about and where do you find inspiration?

I’m passionate about living an elevated artful DIY life, so I decided to form a community where women can get together for ideas/ tips on how to do that… from cooking to decorating to craſting to fashion. It’s been a lot of fun and a great outlet for all my ideas.

AKA: Has your style changed since you became a Mom? What are your favorite clothing lines and what styles are you looking forward to for the winter season?

Since becoming a mom comfort is very important. But I’m also a big believer that you can be comfortable and still look stylish! I’m a big vintage clothing girl. I love easy flowing vintage caſtans. Jenn’s Pirate Booty makes beautiful gauzy caſtans that are easy and chic to run around in. I also love Jeggings... Jean leggings and a great pair of flats. For winter I’m looking forward to dolman sweaters, faux fur vests, and boots!

AKA: What are your go-to beauty brands or products?

For beauty products I love Dr. Haushka! Natural and amazing. Rose day cream is my favorite. On the go I don’t always have time to do full makeup, so a great mascara (Maybelline pink/ green tube is still the best) and a pop of lipcolor goes a long way. For all I love a deep berry or brick color on my lips.

AKA: A lot of moms have joined mommy groups to be able to connect with other moms who share the same joys and struggles of motherhood that they are experiencing.

Do you have a certain group of “mommy friends” that you spend time with?

I’ve had my best girlfriends since my late teens. We’ve been through every stage and journey of life together so far. It’s great to lean on them for advice and to swap war stories with!

AKA: You have achieved so much already in your career. Are there other career goals you are still striving to accomplish? Any personal goals in mind?

I love designing and doing interior design. I really want to design my own women’s fashion line and homeware line. Also party planning is very important to me. It’s a big creative outlet for me. My party planning book “CelebraTori” comes out April 3rd. Very excited about that!

AKA: AKA Mom is all about reminding moms that they need to take care of themselves - mentally, physically and emotionally in order to really be a good mom. You certainly seem to have done that. What advice would you give to moms out there on obtaining that balance in their lives?

My advice is to remember at some point during your busy day to breathe. It’s the simplest thing yet us multitasking busy moms on the go forget to do that. Taking a moment to take a few deep breaths will refocus and invigorate you mentally, physically and emotionally. If you can find 5 minutes to take a mental nap, try to do it!

Xoxo.....
