An Exclusive Interview with

all know Tori Spelling for her versatile acting career that spans television, fi lm and theater. But

in recent years Tori Spelling has broken out of the “90210” mold. As a self-proclaimed “Do It Yourselfer”, Tori Spelling has successfully branded herself and her creativity. She’s an accomplished author, making the New York Times Best Seller’s List 3 times in a row. Her brand also includes a retail store, an online magazine and community for moms, a reality television series, a jewelry collection exclusively for HSN and a clothing line. One month ago Tori gave birth to her 3rd child and we at AKA Mom Magazine just had to fi nd out the secrets behind what she calls her “happy ending”.

Q & A

AKA: You are a very busy woman these days with a hit TV series, 4 books under your belt, amongst many other things and 3 children in tow. How do you fi nd time for yourself?

My husband oſt en tells me I should take more time for myself and do hobbies I love, but my life is my hobby and passion. I love creating, writing, and designing. I’m living my dream! Being a mom and being able to make a living from my passions. And, if you’re creative, you can fi nd some quiet time at the end of the night with your partner!”

AKA: It seems as though you are always able to bounce back from pregnancy quickly! How did you lose the baby weight and what advice can you give new mothers to help them?

Hattie is almost 1 month, so I’m not even really thinking of losing the baby weight yet. I’m not concerned though… I’m so happy and madly in love with my family that baby weight is the last thing

on my mind. Also, I have an amazing husband who makes me feel sexy at any weight. I can’t work out till Hattie is 6 weeks because I had a C Section, so when that time comes I’ll probably be doing physical stuff that involves the family... Walking, jogging, and our family trampoline are great workouts and I can spend time with my kids.

AKA: If you could name one product that you were most thankful for during your pregnancy and one that you use now as a mother, what would they be?

During my pregnancy I was nauseous for 4 1/2 months straight so Preggie Pops saved my life! As a new mom I love the mamaRoo. It soothes/rocks Hattie to sleep.

AKA: Did you have any weird cravings with your 3 pregnancies? If so, what were they?

During my pregnancy with Liam I craved rocky road ice cream. With Stella it was avocados. With Hattie it was sour things like candy, sorbet and fruit.
